At Enterprise Retirement Living (ERL), we are committed to doing everything we can to safeguard our property owners, potential customers, employees, suppliers, and business contacts. Therefore, to comply with the Government’s introduction of tighter restrictions on people’s movements and business operations, which is essential to stem the spread of Coronavirus, we have reviewed our own measures to help keep everyone safe.
The communal areas within our retirement villages have been closed and all social events postponed. For their own safety, owners are being encouraged to practise social distancing. Enhanced cleaning, hygiene regimes and other safety procedures are in place. Normal service from the 24-hour in-house teams is continuing, with additional support for anyone who still needs it will be ongoing for as long as necessary.
During the initial emergency, our staff on the ground made monumental efforts to keep owners safe and their wellbeing ensured by doing shopping, collecting prescriptions, delivering meals, keeping in constant contact, and providing much-needed entertainment in the form of books, DVDs, quizzes, newsletters and special treats. These measures, and the co-operation of the owners themselves, successfully kept Coronavirus out of the villages and we will do everything we can to make sure that continues until the situation improves.
All of our Sales and Head Office staff are working from home but continue to be available to support the operational teams in the villages and, of course, each other.
The Sales Offices at Boughton Hall, The Red House, and Mount Battenhall in Worcester, our next village which is currently under construction are closed, however, we are able to offer private viewings, by appointment only to allow safety precautions to be observed; virtual tours are also available. So, if you would like to visit any one of our locations, or arrange to see a video of our properties, please contact the Sales Team at the village of interest, whose details can be found on this website. There is also an online chat facility that will connect you directly to a Sales Consultant, who will be able to answer any questions you may have.
We sincerely hope that, if everyone continues to be careful and sensible, progress will continue to be made towards a much more “normal normal”. In the meantime, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the advice of the UK Government, Public Health England, and the World Health Organisation. As an Approved Operator of ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators), we also benefit from sharing information and best practice advice with fellow members in the retirement sector, which helps guide our plans and decisions.
