The afternoon progressed with speeches from Neil Davison, the Managing Director of ERL, and The Mayor. Jim Pegg, Chairman of ERL, introduced Georgina Britten-Long and invited her to unveil a commemorative plaque in her honour, Georgina then gave a lovely speech to all the guests recounting stories of her ancestral family and Battenhall House.
Following the formalities, many of our guests were delighted to have a tour around the grounds of Mount Battenhall, visit the stunning show suite and the original Chapel located in the main building.
This joyous event gathered together our new owners at Mount Battenhall, all ERL staff and many businesses ERL have worked closely with over the past few years. This wonderful event brought Mount Battenhall retirement village to life and provided a taste of what living as part of this incredible community will be like when more events take place at Mount Battenhall for our owners and prospective owners alike.
“ERL are very proud to open the third village at Mount Battenhall. The launch was a great success and it was wonderful to hear music and laughter in the building after being empty for so long. We are pleased to have just welcomed our first few owners to the Village and look forward to the vibrant community it will become, with many more events for our owners, their families and friends to enjoy” – Neil Davison, Managing Director.
